Zlatan Ibrahimovic invests in Challengermode

Zlatan Ibrahimovic's agent, Mino Raiola, is remaining coy over the player's future at Manchester United.

It had to be him.

The 35-year-old scored the opening goal and the victor at Wembley to fire United to their first major piece of silverware under Jose Mourinho, taking his tally for the season to 26 across all competitions.

United are now 6th in the table, two points behind the necessary 4th place required to quality for Europe's biggest club competition.

Those doubts were quickly proven false, as the 35-year-old made and nearly immediate impact at Old Trafford and is now in the running for the Premier League's top scorer.

It's by no means certain they'll make it, with the Red Devils now sitting in sixth place with 13 games remaining and Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester City and Tottenham all battling hard to thwart their ambitions.

Ibrahimovic, clearly, will be the key to whether they are successful.

Ibrahimovic netted two goals against the Saints to secure the United's first piece of silverware this season, including a dramatic late victor in the 3-2 victory for United.

Manchester United recorded their second domestic cup win in less than a year yesterday as they beat Southampton to win the EFL Cup.

"That's why he brought him - he's a serial victor, the manager, and so is Ibrahimovic".

One day he's off winning the league cup with Manchester United and the next he's off investing in obscure eSports companies.

Southampton were the better side for most of this final match but were left heartbroken by a controversial offside decision.

"Having Zlatan in the team is good for me, because he can change the game at any moment". Even people in England are now willing to accept that notion after his latest triumph ― and only a fool would bet against him adding more silverware before too long.

The mighty Zlatan isn't finished yet.
