Steve Harvey slays with response to Oscars mix-up

One month after Steve Harvey's Miss Universe mistake, Gutierrez appeared on his TV show, saying that she had gotten over his error.

"I blame Steve Harvey", Jimmy Kimmel said on stage in an attempt to make light of the awkward situation.

Steve Harvey has offered to help Warren Beatty out after the film star accidentally announced the wrong victor for the Best Picture at the Oscars on Sunday. Doubt not, Steve Harvey came back this year too to crown Miss France Iris Mittenaere as Miss Universe 2016, this time a flawless read.

Harvey, who announced the wrong victor for Miss Universe in 2015, said on his radio show Monday: 'Warren I know your pain!

'Yeah, I know all about this.

"Warren, I know your pain".

'I am the creator of these moments.

According to PEOPLE, they believe the Best Actress envelope got printed twice and ended up being given to Warren and Faye to present for Best Picture. I'm [going to] show him how to handle it with dignity and grace'. "He also added "#Oscars", which, honestly, I think is overkill and the joke would've played better without, but, hey, at least we have zero doubt about what he's saying.

The American TV host gained notoriety after announcing that Ariadna Gutierrez of Colombia is Miss Universe 2015, only to return on stage minutes later to say that Pia Wurtzbach of the Philippines is the real victor. It didn't take long for everyone to realize that - somehow - Warren Beatty had been handed the wrong envelope.

"I have to apologize", Harvey said as Miss Columbia waved as she adorned the top title's crown and sash.

"They corrected the mistake that night, unlike my situation".

Harvey came back to the Miss Universe stage early this year to host the Miss Universe 2016 in the Philippines.
