Klopp: Lallana is crucial to Liverpool

Jordan Henderson could miss Liverpool's clash with Arsenal after he was ruled out for the trip to Leicester City.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is expecting Leicester's players to be out to prove something following the sacking of Claudio Ranieri.

Jurgen Klopp's side were poor at the King Power Stadium on Monday evening and went down to a 3-1 defeat to Leicester City, finding themselves 3-0 down by just after the hour mark before grabbing a consolation through Philippe Coutinho. We are going to keep on fighting until the last game to achieve that goal.

"We did not do enough".

The Liverpool manager added: "For us, it's very important to say we can not blame anybody else for this performance - it's only our responsibility".

Sturridge has managed just two goals in the league thus far, which has seen him lose his place in the starting XI and is now behind Roberto Firmino and Divock Origi in the race for a starting role in his preferred number nine position.

Henderson has endured a frustrating campaign with a persistent heel injury causing his problems so he'll also be disappointed to be on the treatment table again following his excellent display against Spurs.

'We are all playing for our future here.

"If we play our best we will be hard to play against whoever". We can be much better, we have shown it already. But, the defender is back in training, as Klopp confirmed, and the manager said it is likely to be a close call as to whether the centre-half will make it to the squad or not.

"When we lose, I feel responsible because I am responsible".
