Photos and features of new Nokia 3310 by HMD

Nokia unveiled its new lineup of phones, and there's definitely some good stuff in here. The original phone, which came out in 2000 and saw sales of more than 125 million, wound up generating countless memes for both its reliability and for being virtually indestructible.

"Fundamentally, it is about making sure that right across our portfolio we are delivering this pure Nokia experience".

According to Chinese site Vtech, the new Nokia 3310 will feature a colour screen, rather than the monochrome 84 x 84 display of old.

The predecessor of the famous 3310, the 3210 is one of the best-selling phones to date and was the first mass market phone to include the antenna inside the phone's body, rather than have it sticking out.

The much-anticipated Nokia 3310 has finally made a comeback at MWC 2017 in Barcelona on Sunday, 26th February. It will have the ability to swap faceplates as you like, which will keep the feature phone fresh and vibrant looking at all times.

The more mid-range style Nokia 5 features better specifications for a slightly higher price tag.

The phone comes in the original navy blue, as well as in red, yellow and grey.

Nokia said it also has "awesome battery life, with up to 22 hours talk time".

While the Nokia 3310 will instantly have a nostalgic connect with users, it is the other three devices - Nokia 3, Nokia 5, Nokia 6 - that are launched to pave its way forward.

Talking about the phones, Nokia 6 was launched earlier this year in China but today's MWC keynote has made the phone global along with two of its new brothers. Powered by a Snapdragon 430 processor with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, it runs stock Android 7.0 Nougat with the promise of monthly security patches as well as regular updates. The smartphone comes with 2 Gigabyte of RAM and 16 Gigs of Internal storage with micro-SD support.

Nokia 3310 features a 2.4-inch QVGA display and on the camera front it has 2 MP shooter with LED flash.

The Nokia 3310 is back.
