MS Dhoni still good enough to play all formats: Mohammad Kaif

Dhoni's innings included 10 fours and 6 massive sixes, helping Jharkhand reach a competitive total of 243 runs in 50 overs. In came MS Dhoni, joining hands with Saurabh Tiwary, batting cautiously and took his time to get off the mark, eight balls to be precise.

Later, Nadeem carried that confidence into his bowling as well, picking up figures of 3 for 36 in 7.4 overs and was well backed up by Varun Aaron, who delivered an economical spell of 3 for 26 in his 7 overs.

Mohammed Kaif says former India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni still has the ability to play for his country in all three formats. I believe he is still good enough for all formats of the game. Soon, he hit a couple of towering sixes but lost his stumps trying to scoop a delivery on the stumps to fine leg and missing the ball at the team score of 160 with more than 100 runs required for victory.

"I have been watching Dhoni since his debut match and always felt you can not become a "Dhoni" just by practice". With this knock, Dhoni has once again proved that he still has a lot to offer to Indian cricket. He is still a member of India's limited-overs teams but quit as captain last month.
