According to Netflix, the show will find the comedian "exploring his fresh take on life, career and mortality" after his near-fatal traffic accident in 2014. What's more, Seinfeld's own Jerry Seinfeld recently signed a deal transferring his popular Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee series from Crackle to Netflix - that, and two stand-up specials of his own. Staying Alive will be launched globally on Tuesday, May 16, 2017. This includes Morgan's recovery from a traumatic brain injury, learning how to walk again and tackling new challenges in life.
The special will focus on Morgan's return to comedy following a tragic accident in 2014 that left him with a slim chance of living, the reports say. He hosted Saturday Night Live in October 2015. Joining the line-up is Tracy Morgan.
