Beyoncé Speaks Out in Support of Trans Youth

Our beloved Queen Bey has been mostly silent following her stunning twins pregnancy announcement on Instagram, her transcendent Grammys performance spectacle, and Adele's powerful Grammy win tribute to her at the music event of the year.

On Wednesday afternoon Beyoncé posted on Facebook after being missing in action on social media in a couple weeks. "Share your support to #protecttransyouth at glsen.org/100days & put * a class="_58cn" href="https://www.facebook.com/hashtag/kindnessinaction?source=feed_text&story_id=10158418659530601" data-ft="{"tn":"*N","type":104}" *#KindnessInAction GLSEN..." The post has since gained more than 21,000 reactions.

Shortly after the Trump administration withdrew protections for transgender students in public schools (Feb.22), Beyonce voiced her support for tans youth on Facebook (Feb. 23).

Beyonce offered some support to the LGBTQ community via social media as the Trump Administration walked back on protecting them from discrimination.

GLSEN executive director Dr. Eliza Byard told The Huffington Post that the organisation was "thrilled" to receive Beyonce's support.

ABC/Image Group LABeyoncé wants everyone to support the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN) through the organization's 100 Days of Kindness campaign.
