Transgender activist and Olympic gold medalist Caitlyn Jenner appeals to Trump

After President Trump lifted the federal guidelines which allowed transgender students to use the bathroom for the gender with which they identify, Jenner-a lifelong Republican-issued a video statement calling out Trump.

"This is a disaster".

"This is a disaster, and you can still fix it", Jenner said, reminding Trump he previously made a promise to "protect the LGBTQ community".

Caitlyn Jenner has broken her silence.

"I have a message to the trans-kids of America: You're winning", Jenner said in a video posted to Twitter. "But you're winning. Very soon we will win full freedom nationwide, and it will be with bipartisan support". "If I was lying on my deathbed and I had kept this secret and never ever did anything about it, I would be lying there saying, 'You just blew your entire life, ' " she says. And becasue you're weak, you pick on kids, you pick on women or anyone else you think is vulnerable.

Jenner was personally pushed into the issue previous year as candidates discussed whether or not they supported a North Carolina law that banned transgender people from using certain restrooms.

Jenner didn't mince words directed at bullies, the president and even U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions.

"People go, they use the bathroom that they feel is appropriate".

Mr. President, how can you empathize with a celebrity's need for safety and inclusion by allowing her to use the bathroom of her choice but disregard the safety of students across the country who now won't have a choice? During his speech at the Republican National Convention, Trump said: "I will do everything in my power to protect our LGBTQ citizens from the violence and oppression of a hateful foreign ideology".
