Pitting two teams of six Pilots against each other, Live Fire does away with allowing players to call in orbital Titan support on a whim, instead putting the onus on you and the rest of your squad to strategize and coordinate your next move.
Fans of the game Titanfall 2 will be able to take part in the 6v6 pilot only mode tomorrow. The update will also bring two Live Fire-specific maps called Stacks and Meadow as well as an additional Coliseum map called Columns.
If that looks a little daunting to you, have no fear; Titanfall 2 designer Griffin Dean has been kind enough to share 5 helpful tips for players getting started in the new mode, which you can check out over at the PlayStation Blog.
Titanfall 2's latest update begins rolling out today on Xbox One and it brings a significant amount of fresh content for players and requires no additional purchase whatsoever. After the update is applied, fans will be able to create their own personalized modes. Players can now experience the Live Fire mode that is reportedly fast and frantic. Some of the modes will be rewarding players with double XP just for checking the playlists out, as published by GameRant. This will bring a lot of game changes and fixes among other things.
Balancing was touched upon last week via the preliminary patch notes found here. New faction leader dialogues are also added for the game. The double XP event will start on February 23, 2017, until February 27, 2017, and would only be for the Live Fire Mode. The XP bonus will only be granted to those who are playing Live Fire mode, as reported by VG 24/7.
