Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus New Details Confirms 6.2-Inch Display

Known tipster Evan Blass has shared an image of the spec sheet of the device on his Twitter account. It'll pack a 12-megapixel rear camera and a 8-megapixel front camera, as well as 4GB of RAM and 64 gigabytes of expandable internal storage.

That display is slated to based on a Quad HD+ Super AMOLED panel, and while it may seem like a cumbersome size on paper, the phone is expected to have minimal bezels and a curved screen design - as seen in previous leaks - which should slim down the form factor.

As for specs, the G6 will ship with a 5.7-inch QHD+ display screen with an aspect ratio of 18:9. However, according the Verge, the company could officially unveil the Galaxy S8 devices next month and will launch it in April. We found the images and specifications of Samsung Galaxy S8 recently.

Although not confirmed for the LG G6 and Huawei P10, it is possible that Samsung Galaxy S8 will be the only flagship launched in Q1 2017 that will support both wireless and wired fast charging technology. Share it in the comment section below, and stay tuned for more news and updates. Like the latest model, the Galaxy S8 would be IP68 dust and water-resistant, allowing it to withstand different environments.

The phone also appears to have an iris scanner for security purposes and you'll be able to charge it with no wires involved, as long as you buy the requisite charging pad.

Having said that, Samsung is taking a big step this year with such large displays. The phone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat. A microSD card slot will also be included, and it's likely Samsung's AI assistant Bixby will be featured as well. LG is all set to have the G6 go on sale a few days later, on the 10th of March, if the reports are to be believed. Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
