New Logan Stepway from Dacia

The Dacia Logan MCV Stepway has been revealed with extra storage space, upgraded kit and new styling tweaks to give it an off-road look similar to the Dacia Sandero Stepway.

DACIA's Stepway family is set to grow with the forthcoming launch of the new Logan MCV Stepway at next month's Geneva Motor Show. This would be a £1,000 premium over an equivalent Logan in non-Stepway guise.

Meanwhile, seen from the side, the wheel arches and sills are accentuated by an exclusive trim. Satin-effect chrome skid plates, plus the fitment of fog lights complete the exterior modifications.

The Logan MCV Stepway will sit 50mm higher from the road than the standard model and get 16-inch wheels. The same colour can be found in the detailing around the centre console and air vent surrounds. The steering wheel mounted-controls are now better integrated, while in the middle of the wheel, beneath the Dacia logo, the word "Stepway" is picked out in blue. These seats feature a 3D weave with top-stitching.

Created using the Laureate trim, all Summit models come with air conditioning, DAB radio and satellite navigation.

"The new Logan MCV Stepway is extremely generous and functional, providing all the acclaimed benefits of the Logan MCV, including the latter's spacious interior and a boot capacity that figures amongst the market's very biggest", claims the company. Last but not least, the model is fitted with one-touch direction indicators and a lit glove box. "The rugged New Logan MCV Stepway is an estate vehicle that delivers record interior space for a hallmark low price tag", notes Jean-Christophe Kugler, EVP, Chairman of Europe Region, Groupe Renault. All cars get rear parking sensors, electric windows and a 12V power supply.

Diesel: dCi 90 S&S coupled to a five-speed manual gearbox (combined cycle fuel consumption: 3.9 litres/100km / Carbon dioxide emissions: 100g/km).
