Lorde, Father John Misty to Perform on 'SNL' in March

Actress Scarlett Johansson is set to host "Saturday Night Live" for its March 11 episode.

All signs point to New Music O'Clock for the New Zealand ambassador/Oceanic representative of Taylor Swift's squad, and there's a very good chance her two songs at SNL will be never-before-heard singles off her forthcoming album. Spencer, who won for "The Help", is vying for her second Oscar for her role as Dorothy Vaughan in the drama "Hidden Figures", which was nominated for best picture. Father John Misty's forthcoming album, "Pure Comedy", is the highly anticipated follow-up to his internationally acclaimed album "I Love You, Honeybear".

Previous members of the show's five-timers club include Steve Martin, John Goodman, Tina Fey, Drew Barrymore, Chevy Chase, and Justin Timberlake, among several others.

The Avengers star will emcee the March 11 outing, with Lorde as musical guest, NBC announced Thursday. Baldwin has been making appearances as Trump while Melissa McCarthy surprised everyone with her debut as White House press secretary Sean Spicer.
