Lego City Undercover gets Nintendo Switch release date

Warner Bros and TT Games today announced that LEGO CITY Undercover will be released on April 7th.
The trailer features the hero of the game, the super cop Chase McCain, using a myriad of clever tricks to act undercover and capture risky criminal Rex Fury on the run.
In the new trailer, Warner Bros details the disguises Chase McCain can wear and confirms the two-player co-operative mode (at 1:10), which allows "friends and family to fight crime in LEGO City Undercover together for the first time". Players will get to experience the game in its entirety as it was on the Wii U. Players will get to explore LEGO City as they hunt down escaped criminal, Rex Fury.
The latest trailer for the remake also reveals a new co-op mode, missing from the original game. Given the scale of Lego City Undercover's open environments, that'll come in real handy. 18, 2013 and was only available for the Nintendo Wii U. Unlike other LEGO games published by Travellers' Tales (which were based on other licenses) LEGO City Undercover is under the LEGO City brand and was the very first LEGO game to be published by Nintendo. This open-world LEGO adventure will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch on 7 April 2017.
