Europa League 2016/17 Round of 16 draw

They are now set to discover who will provide the next obstacle in their efforts to return European silverware to Old Trafford.
The round of 32 in the Europa League has come to an end with 16 teams making it to the next stage of the competition.
Iago Aspas has found his feet back in Spain after an unsuccessful stint in the Premier League with Liverpool and his Celtic Vigo side have enjoyed a run in the Europa League this season. Apart from Gent, Belgium have two other teams in this stage of the tournament as Anderlecht and Genk also progressed after they defeated Zenit St Petersburg and AFC Astra, respectively.
Mourinho will be hoping to avoid lengthy trips to Russian Federation to face wither Krasnodar or Rostov, with Belgian trio Gent, Anderlecht and Genk completing the list of possible opponents.
Manchester United beat Saint-Etienne 4-0 on aggregate to book their place in the Europa League last 16.
United are the only English side still remaining in the competition after Spurs were eliminated by Gent on Thursday night.
There was some tricky draws in the hat today for Jose Mourinho's side, not just owing to the quality of some teams. There will not be country-wise protection and any club can be drawn against each other meaning Genk can be drawn against Gent or Anderlecht and Schalke can be drawn against Borussia Monchengladbach.
The first leg matches from the round of 16 of the Europa League is set to take place on March 9 with the second leg said to take place on March 16.
