Dragon Quest Heroes Requires SD Card for Nintendo Switch

During this presentation, Nintendo will touch on some of the 60 games that have been confirmed for a Switch eShop launch.

GameStop says they will stock a "limited supply" of Nintendo's next video game console in stores when it launches on March 3.

While this potentially opens the door for features such as family sharing, it looks like Nintendo Accounts will still be tied to one console.

While Nintendo Switch owners won't have immediate access to Virtual Console titles, not all hope is lost.

Apparently Nintendo Switch digital game purchases can't be shared across multiple systems, hinting the same Nintendo Account can't be active on multiple Switch consoles. The company did not immediately respond to a request by Fortune for comment. Nintendo also recently announced via social media that there will be a stream about indie games coming to the Switch on Tuesday, February 28 at 9AM PST. It's not clear how much that service costs, but Nintendo's promising a classic game each month - games from the Virtual Console - as part of the service. The eShop will be ready with indie titles, digital packages of already released games and DLC at launch. Also unlike the Wii or Wii U, the Switch will not come with any bundled games.

A news feature will offer updates about the latest additions to Nintendo eShop, as well as providing information about upcoming games and other updates from Nintendo. Now you can officially have your cake and eat it. Play all those classic Nintendo games while also joining in with a franchise behemoth like Federation Internationale de Football Association.

So parents can't buy two Switches and activate their Nintendo Account on both of them and download all their owned games on both systems. "We will share more information in the future", Nintendo said in a statement.

Let us know what you think of the Switch's launch day - will "Breath of the Wild" carry over fans until other entertainment apps can be added?
