Darius McCrary and his estranged wife win matching restraining orders

But McCrary has fought back, winning his own restraining order against Brawner just hours later by claiming she threw an iron at him during a recent argument, TMZ reports.

Family Matters star Darius McCrary's wife Tammy Brawner has been granted a temporary restraining order after she alleged her husband of domestic abuse.

McCrary is best known for playing Eddie Winslow on the popular 90s sitcom.

Brawner also claimed McCrary would strap Zoey's arms down during meals and frequently spanked the infant. But she also got a TRO which required him to pack his bags and leave.

According to Brawner, on February 10 McCrary got so angry that he started throwing picture frames around the house nearly hitting their daughter.

In the court documents, Brawner reflected on one particular incident in which she claims that McCrary held their daughter over a boiling pot of water and said he wished he never had her.

"Yea right.sad some people will do ANYTHING make #TMZ", he wrote.

She went on to say that he is "violent, destructive and unstable emotionally".

McCrary, meanwhile, has been mocking the allegations by posting a series of cryptic images on Instagram.

"Tammy Brawner is no victim....she is a predator motivated by a desperate desire to extort money out of Mr. McCrary while trying to create an advantage in an impending divorce and custody battle", Darius' attorney Glen T. Jonas said in a statement. She had accused Blacklock of calling her a "seductress who would ruin [other player's] marriages". Her allegations are such obvious and outlandish lies....we are all dumber for having read them.

She wasn't done either, claiming that he abused alcohol and used drugs.

McCrary was previously married to Steffans, 38, from 2009 to 2011 and to Juliette M. Vann from 2005 to 2006.
