A Very Pregnant Beyoncé Pulls Out Of Coachella, Will Headline 2018 Instead

Weeks after announcing her pregnancy, Beyoncé has pulled out of this year's Coachella music festival! "We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes." the singer said in an announcement on her official Instagram account. She will instead perform next year at the festival, which draws 20 percent of it almost 100,000 dailly attendees from San Diego County.

At this time, it is not yet clear who will be taking Beyonce's spot in Coachella.

The singer made a decision to take a break from show business and keep her workload to a minimum while carrying Jay-Z's, twins. However, she has not revealed when her new arrivals are due.

Recently, Queen Bey sparked attention while out shopping in California. In 2016, it drew some 99,000 paying customers to the Empire Polo Fields in Indio, Calif., for two weekends, bringing in a total of almost 200,000 fans who doled out $400 for general admission tickets (or $900 for VIP). The megastar, pregnant with twins, was supposed to headline the Saturday lineups both April 15 and 22.

Beyonce would have become only the second female headliner at the festival, following Bjork, who headlined twice - first in 2002 alongside Oasis, and then again in 2007.

With the slot open, Coachella producers have to fill Beyonce's performance dates. Beyonce had a blast dancing on stage at the 2014 Coachella, but she didn't sing or headline.

And of course, the fans are taking it hard.

Work singer Rihanna is also a hot contender to replace Beyonce claiming over 20% of the vote. Some called on people who would like to buy their tickets.
