A trove of new Android smartphones to debut at MWC

The upcoming Nokia 3310 is expected to be announced on February 26 during MWC 2017 in Barcelona, along with the Nokia 3, Nokia 5, and the Nokia 6.

LG's next big smartphone looks to abandon the modularity of the G5 and already has heads turning, with Danish designer Torsten Valeur calling it "the ideal fusion of... handsome shape and clever solution and obviously great user experience". To extend its reach, the Finland-based firm will try our dual channel strategy, making its devices available in both online and offline stores, unlike the other smartphone vendors. It's also said to be waterproofed and rumored for sheduled for a March 10 release. While most of the reports say the company will only unveil the S8 pair, the handset will actually launch at a later stage.

All we know for the moment is that in Withings' words it will be "an exciting keynote announcement" and that we "won't want to miss it".

This year's Mobile World Congress is certainly going to be one of the most significant ones in recent history. Pocket-lint will be there to bring you the latest as it happens. It's likely the new version will be used as a secondary phone by those anxious about damaging an expensive iPhone 7 or Samsung Galaxy S7.

The company look to be teasing exactly that. Now a report out of China has confirmed it will remain a feature phone.

Whiting is known for manufacturing health devices like trackers but they have built a smartwatch too. The handset is expected to be officially launched at MWC and hopefully we will get to learn about its specifications and price.

HMD Global's event will start at 4.30 pm in Barcelona, which is around 9 pm IST.

Nokia 6 features a 5.5-inch Full HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor, 4GB RAM coupled with 64GB internal storage.

As fitting the technology limits of the time, the original device had a small monochrome display, with green and black the only colours on offer. LG recently mentioned about the phone's camera on its Social page in the Korean language that LG G6 will be featured two 13-megapixel rear-facing shooters.
