Wednesday would have been Steve Irwin's 55th birthday, and his daughter Bindi marked the occasion with a sweet throwback photo of the beloved "Crocodile Hunter".
Australian wildlife expert Irwin, who was nicknamed the Crocodile Hunter, died in 2006 after being attacked by a stingray while filming footage for a documentary.
Last November, the Irwin family gathered at the zoo to celebrate Steve Irwin Day alongside some reptiles, and Bindi took to Instagram to share a heartfelt post.
She simply captioned the touching post: 'Always in our hearts'.
The 18-year-old actress and conservationist shared a vintage shot of her dad with a sulphur-crested cockatoo at an Australia zoo.
Many followers of the multi-talented conversationalist liked and commented on her touching post, also paying tribute to the iconic wildlife warrior.
"You'll be my hero for my entire existence".
Steve left behind his wife Terri, son Robert, and daughter Bindi who have since upheld his legacy.
"I still feel enormous love and loyalty to Steve", she explained.
Bindi Irwin Is Brother Robert's Biggest Fan: "You Are More And More Like Dad Every Day " Tears in my eyes.
Robert appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to promote the annual Steve Irwin Gala in L.A.in aid of animal conservation.
