Nioh's PvP coming in April

This will be followed by the implementation of PvP sometime in late-April.

The intense action game Nioh has gained a lot of momentum since launch, empowered by positive critical reviews and strong word of mouth around the gaming community.

According to Gematsu, there will be two free updates coming in the next few months, and after that in total of three DLC packs.

They have said that the High-difficulty missions will be added to the game within the end of March, while Nioh PvP is coming in late April. Recall that Nioh is now available on PlayStation 4, yesterday Koei-Tecmo unveiled the plan for the next free updates and the first DLC.

If you are like me and enjoy playing updates seeded via free updates you'll find some stuff that you may or may not like. The first of which, 'Dragon of Tohoku', is also set to launch in late-April and will include everything from new weapons, equipment and yokai to new enemies, stages and scenarios.

The second and third DLC packs for the game will be called Japan's Best Warrior and Armor of Japan's Best Warrior. Team Ninja hasn't detailed how this will take place, but it'll be interesting to see other players enter the fray.

That's not all, either- it sounds like the first paid DLC pack for the game is not too far off, either. This will also give players access to the forthcoming Defiant Honor ('fight in the bloody Winter Campaign of the Siege of Osaka') and Bloodshed's End ('bring the Siege of Osaka to an end during the Summer Campaign') expansions. Nioh is out now for PS4.
