Logan will have a post-credits scene, so stay until the end

But now, Collider's Steve Weintraub has revealed that there will be a scene added around the credits of the movie, it just wasn't shown to critics as Fox want it to remain as under-wraps as possible until the film opens. Speculations about what the final credits will feature came after a Twitter post confirmed a three-minute post-credits scene added to the runtime of the movie. What do you think the post-credits scene will contain?

According to Digital Spy, it is especially hard to tell what to expect from the post-credits scene because the tone of the movie is perfectly natural and its ending is fine even without the extra scene.

During the film's final act (an incredible half-hour of tense action which feels far more comic book-y than Logan's first 90 minutes), a band of young mutants on the run from the villainous, military-sponsored organization Transigen disappears into the wilderness, having crossed the border from North Dakota into Canada.

Before its wide release, "Logan" is already getting high praises from critics with its groundbreaking story that marks its place in the series of X-Men films.

That's great news for fans, because it cuts back on potential spoilers. This kind of post-credits stinger won't help the movie's plot at all, and will merely serve as advertising for a future film, but this seems to be Fox's preferred approach to the end-credits scene as of late. Rictor is the leader of the X-Force team in the comics, after all.

Logan is being helmed by The Wolverine director James Mangold and will see Hugh Jackman joined in the cast by Patrick Stewart as Professor X, along with new additions Boyd Holbrook, Richard E. Grant, Stephen Merchant, Dafne Keen, Eriq La Salle, Elizabeth Rodriguez and Elise Neal. "Logan is a must-watch, and is not only a wonderful superhero movie, but a wonderful movie in its own right".
