The 55-year-old film star and his wife Amal, 39, bought Mill House, a Grade II listed manor house on the banks of the River Thames, for a reported £10 million in 2014.
Amal and George Clooney have all of the makings of a power couple - and just recently, the world found out that they're expecting twins. "It's going to be an adventure", he added. The Oscar victor, in an interview with French film journalist Laurent Weil on his show Rencontres de Cinema, opened up about expecting twins with his wife, Amal Clooney. "We've embraced it with arms wide open".
Earlier this month United States talkshow host Julie Chen revealed that the A-list couple would be having twins, which was later confirmed by the actor's mum.
The French actor welcomed a child with his second wife, Nathalie Tardivel, in 2003 when he was 70-years-old.
'So, I'm feeling a little better about being 56 by the time [the twins arrive],' he laughed.
When the reporter asked him about how his friends took the news, George started laughing and said they were making "baby noises". "She was a friend of a friend who came to visit and then I chased her for many months, calling and writing, those kinds of things", George said during an appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman, according to Popsugar.
The actor's mother Nina Clooney revealed to Vogue magazine last weekend, in comments posted on January 16, that Amal is expecting a boy and a girl, and is due to give birth in June.
"My husband and I are extremely excited".
