Cavs PG Kyrie Irving: 'The Earth Is Flat'

That caused a bit of a stir on Friday, and Irving was asked about his view of the world again by ESPN's Arash Markazi later that day. Kyrie Irving said the earth was flat. I'm telling you, it's right in front of our faces.
Given that Irving stated his beliefs of a flat Earth on an airplane of all places, my comic from nearly exactly one year ago (below) seems even more pertinent.
"I don't know. I haven't done enough research".
He reiterated those beliefs at NBA's All-Star weekend in New Orleans. Without Kyrie there's no way LeBron would have been able to fulfill his destiny and bring a championship to Cleveland, so he's probably willing to support anything that his "little brother" says - as long as he doesn't say, "I want to be traded".
National Basketball Association commissioner Adam Silver does not think Earth is flat, and says it is in fact round. Are you going to try to protect your image?' I mean, it really doesn't matter.
In case-even after getting his thoughts on dinosaurs in the clip above-you still think Irving is playing around, well, he's not. I think it was a larger comment on the sort of so-called fake news debate that's going on in our society right now in terms of what's reported, and it led to an interesting discussion. I'm pretty sure Silver prefers answering questions about the earth being flat than about James Dolan and Charles Oakley. Or what I really believe. "I think people should do their own research, man", Irving said.
The NBA is as well-positioned as it has ever been, with a deep pool of talent and labor peace guaranteed until at least 2022-2023. Even if it's only one person, that's one too many walking around with some garbage about a flat Earth filling their head. They're particularly putting you in a direction of what to believe and what not to believe. The same applies to all celebrities and especially politicians.
Then James shouted to Irving, who was seated next to him in the interview area at the Superdome, and said "Kyrie, the Earth is flat, right?" "He's one of those guys where he's going to stand by what he believes".
"That's news", James said.
