Two blasts and firing have been reported on Tuesday in Tangi sub district's Kachehri area of Charsadda, a district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistantribe.com reported.
The blast appeared to be outside a court. Some reports claimed there was just one blast while others said there were more than two.
The bombers opened fire inside the court premises and threw hand grenades, the Dawn reported.
Charsadda police have confirmed deaths and said injured people shifted to the district hospital.
One of them blew himself up while two managed to enter the building where a large number of lawyers and litigants were present and judges were hearing cases, sources said. Police and security forces have cordoned off the area.
Hospitals in Peshawar and Charsadda were put on high alert.
A string of bombings in Pakistan over the past 10 days has killed more than 100 people.
On Thursday a suicide blast at Lal Shahbaz Qalandar at Sehwan Sharif killed at least 90 people and injured hundreds others.
