As soon as the women raised an alarm, he fled but ended up tearing the air hostess' dress. Police tried to persuade the woman and her friend to lodge a complaint immediately, but they chose to leave the place. The police are yet to verify the identity of the molester as he was wearing an helmet and managed to speed away from the spot within seconds before neither the woman nor her companion could identify the registration number of the vehicle.
She also suffered injuries in her attempt to resist the attack.
According to police sources, three special police teams have been formed to nab the accused.
According to a report in the Indian Express, the woman and her friend were returning home at around 10 pm when an unidentified biker started harassing them. However after two days on February 14, the woman chose to officially lodge a complaint with the cops. Police have registered an FIR under Section 354 (outraging modesty) of IPC and are investigating but still the accused had not been caught.
