Noticeably Cooler Finish to the Presidents Day Weekend

A stronger system arrives late in the week causing strong winds, rain showers and thunderstorms. Highs in the low 70s and lows in the mid-40s.

After a stray shower very early Wednesday morning we remarkably climb back into the 60s for several more days in the extended forecast.

Monday, we will start the morning off with mostly cloudy skies.

We'll see increasing clouds Sunday afternoon into the evening when rain chances increase ahead of major rain event that will be the weather story for Monday.

Rain chances will stay 10% or less. With clouds moving in tonight temperatures will not be as cold tonight when compared to the past few nights. Saturday morning's lows will drop to 43 in the Upstate and 36 in the mountains under mostly clear skies. Chillier air starts working in Saturday night, with temperatures in the 40s on Sunday.

Temperatures turn much warmer again for the end of the week. It will be a bit breezy at times as well. bit still mild with highs in the lower to middle 60s. High temperatures Sunday should be in the lower 70s. Expect plenty of sunshine today with highs near 60, still above normal but cooler than the weekend.
