LeBron James on equality comments: 'happy'

He did that very successfully at the Smoothie King Arena, meeting with National Basketball Association superstars LeBron James and Steph Curry, taking a snap with each of them, and then posting said snaps on Instagram. Even more specifically, James apparently doesn't think Stephen Curry is his rival. Together with my team-mates, we helped put together a great part of the club's history and thanks to God, things turned out well, " he said about his new role as the global ambassador of Barcelona.

James has gone as far as to say that there was not even a team rivalry in today's game, an opinion Warriors forward Draymond Green disagreed with. "It's definitely fun. A team that you beat, beat you, it's definitely fun".

James makes some good points here, especially since the Cavs and Warriors have just played each other twice in the Finals. "I see how I see it, and they can see it how they see it".

The Cavaliers and Warriors are top of their respective conferences at the halfway stage, and are strong favourites to set up a third straight finals match-up.

James said he was not fazed by the prospect of a gruelling second half of the season, and insisted he had plenty of energy left for a deep play-off run. The East got blown out of this game a year ago. "Just give me one or two days rest and I'll be ready to go again".

This morning's (Singapore time) will be the first All-Star game since 2005 - James' first All-Star - where no player in the game will be older than 32.

"There's no competition this weekend", James said. "I'm very happy and excited".
