Functionaries of the Indian National League Party on Monday submitted a representation at the Chennai Police Commissioner's office seeking action against actor Kamal Haasan for his tweet on the recent developments in Tamil Nadu politics. Panneerselvam was chosen as her successor but strong differences arose soon after in the party with several MLAs openly calling Sasikala natarajan, a long-time aid to the late chief minister, to take over the reins from Paneerselvam. We have seen worst things happen in TN assembly. And his observations have clearly irked a section of politicians.
Veteran Tamil actor Kamal Hassan has refused to accept Palaniswami as Tamil Nadu CM by pointing out that he was anointed by the family of Sasikaala which is "a criminal conglomerate".
Kamal Haasan, through a tweet, asked the MLAs to show some respect and termed them as people of "Tamizhnadu". It's also the name of Kamal's new avatar.
Subramanya Swamy called Kamal Haasan "boneless wonder and pompous idiot", while Kamal Haasan confidently said that he needn't give a retort to Swamy as the people are going to oppose him.
