AC Milan consider £17m swoop for Arsenal forward Lucas Perez

Milan have not yet approached Arsenal about bringing Perez to the San Siro but reports in Italy, relaid by talkSPORT, suggest the Italian giants have identified the versatile attacker as the man to bolster their strikeforce.

But the 28-year-old Spaniard has made just two starts in the Premier League this season, and is frustrated over his lack of game time.

Lucas Perez's agent claims his client has his heart set on leaving Arsenal this summer as he has been repeatedly snubbed by boss Arsene Wenger.

His representative Rodrigo Fernandez Llovelle said while talking to calciomercato.com: 'Look, the truth is that Lucas wants to leave at all costs and is not happy at Arsenal, he hasn't settled and hasn't had a chance to play and show what he can do'.

Perez may be handed a rare start on Monday evening when Arsenal face Sutton United in the FA Cup fifth round.

"Milan is a great team and he likes them a lot, even though we've never spoken with the Rossoneri's directors".

'He hasn't received any offer yet.

It has not even been six months since Lucas Perez secured a move to Arsenal from Deportivo La Coruna in a £17.1 million deal and it's already looking as if he could be on his way out of North London this coming summer. "Lucas wants to leave at any cost".

'No matter who is the manager in the future, we want to go.

Perez has appeared in 18 matches this season, and scored a hat-trick in the 4-1 Champions League win at Basel, but many of his appearances have been from the substitutes' bench.
