Sony and Activision have announced that Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy will release on the 30th of June exclusively on PS4.
Anyway, the CRASH BANDICOOT remaster will come out this summer June 30th, 2017.
The first footage of the remaster (embedded below) was revealed at the PlayStation Experience in December, showing off the game's improved visuals, some of which were compared against the the PlayStation One originals. Following a cameo appearance in Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, Crash Bandicoot appeared as a playable character in Skylanders: Imaginators, and rumours abound that an all-new entry in the series is in the works. The addition of real - time lighting is added via a Physically Based Rendering engine, and the texture size has been increased.
It comes with the updated editions of the original games "Crash Bandicoot", "Crash Bandicoot: Warped, and "Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back".
"This is a AAA remaster", says game director Dan Tanguay. He said that they were giving "Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy" the love and attention to detail that they give to all of their AAA games. Vicarious Visions will give players the option to manually or automatically save their progress in the game. The soundtrack has also been remastered.
"Generally, while we strive to recreate each level so it looks and feels like the original, we also want to make sure that environments are fun, colorful, and read well in the fast-paced action with the addition of the new technology we are using", says Art Lead Dustin King.
