Police Serve Warrant For Murder In Boulder Missing Woman Case

Police notified the public of the disappearance on Tuesday night and said that Mead's daughter, Winter Daisy Mead, was possibly with her father, Adam Densmore.

They say they believe the remains belong to an adult female.

Authorities recovered the child who was unharmed and placed in the temporary care of Oklahoma protected services. "At this point it is too early to make a connection between the two cases, but we are in contact with local authorities".

Boulder Police say Adam Densmore, who is the child's father, was taken to custody by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol for allegedly violating a custody order.

Police say an employee at the Murphy's gas station at the Okmulgee Walmart found the suitcase in the dumpster around 2:30 p.m.

Police have yet to confirm the body has been positively identified as Mead.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Ashley Mead is asked to contact the Boulder Police Department at 303-441-1974.

Some news agencies had reported that the remains were found in a suitcase, but Prentice did not confirm that.

During a press conference Wednesday, police referenced a possible link between the body found and a missing persons case in another city.
