The winning Powerball numbers for Wednesday, Feb. 15, are: 33, 05, 42, 38, 28, plus the Powerball of 19.
The twice-weekly drawing is worth at least $310 million with a cash option of $189.3 million.
It can be watched locally on either WABC-7 in the New York City area or WPVI-6 in the Philadelphia region. The draws are also posted on YouTube and on our site.
No one has hit the jackpot since December 17, causing it to grow larger each week.
The most commonly drawn Powerball numbers are 10 and 25.
In the last drawing on Wednesday, five tickets matched five numbers but not the Powerball. A ticket bought in Missouri is valued at $1 million. If there is no jackpot victor, the amount grows even larger for the next drawing.
Since POWERBALL launched in Florida in January 2009, the Florida Lottery has had the most winners in the nation with more than 71.5 million winning tickets totaling more than $2.2 billion in prizes, including 12 jackpot winners. The victor took home just over $72 million after taxes. Let's see if that $2 you plunked down for a ticket pays off.
Powerball is held in 44 states, the District of Columbia, the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.
