Norwich City go into the midweek clash with Newcastle United as underdogs despite their recent run of impressive form. I thought Norwich would be at the top from the beginning.
"It had gone. You concentrate on what is to come". But we have to approach this game with the right mentality because it's a tough game.
Cameron Jerome gets a hug from Jonny Howson after putting the Canaries ahead against the Championship leaders.
Their failure to claim all three points, however, allowed third-placed Huddersfield Town (61 points) to close the gap on the top two to four points with a 3-2 victory at bottom club Rotherham United thanks to a stoppage-time Tommy Smith victor.
"We have not had too many games where we have made mistakes like that, so that is why you can not be too anxious about them". They are a team with experience, the players, the quality.
Gayle's ratio of a goal every 88 minutes of Championship action this season places him well ahead of all of his rivals to win the top scorer title in the division. "It was a good game, a good game to play in and probably a fair point overall for both sides".
Newcastle gifted Alex Neil's side their two first-half goals after taking an early lead through an Ayoze Perez goal.
He told the EDP: "Without doubt we will be a match for them".
"The way the players responded in the second half though was brilliant". "It was sloppy defending and they capitalised on that, got the goal, and we showed great character to come back and really press them high, and forced the mistakes our goals came from".
"Maybe they will think the opposite, but we had so many chances".
Vincent Sasso had opened the scoring for Wednesday after 18 minutes and despite a Sam Hutchinson own goal two minutes later, Sasso's second just before the interval proved enough to take the points.
