Ultra Street Fighter II: New First-Person Mode Confirmed

Players will enjoy throwing fireballs using the system's Joy-Con controllers.as shown on the "Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers'" art box.

Nintendo Everything reports that Japanese game cases have outed a special "Unlesh!" Players can choose to fight using the original, 16-bit graphics, or the newer, HD artwork that was featured in Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD Remix. Ultra Street Fighter 2 will also introduce two new characters with Violent Ken and Evil Ryu. There's been at least some version of the classic fighting game released on just about every console since the original Street Fighter 2 hit arcades in 1991, but it's doubtful anyone saw the Switch announcement coming. And if so, how will this mode play into the standard edition of the game?

Finally, MT Framework engine's logo is on the box. Among the lineup includes Capcom's upcoming fighter for the Nintendo Switch. However, a screenshot of the first-person mode presents a timer at the top of the screen, while at the bottom of the screen is a score bar.

When Nintendo revealed the first trailer of Ultra Street Fighter II, there was very short scene to see the player in a first-person perspective.

Capcom hasn't disclosed a release date as of yet, but we'll be monitoring the game's progress once new details are announced.
