Lady Gaga teases Metallica collaboration ahead of Grammys performance

Lady Gaga is the only pop star today who could strut onstage wearing knee-high leather boots to head bang alongside thrash metal pioneers Metallica, and have it feel natural. As the fiery performance concluded, Hetfield sulked over to the side of the stage and angrily tossed his white ESP guitar over into a stack of amplifiers.

Laverne Cox is feeling the wrath of die-hard Metallica fans.

In response to critics, Gaga took to Instagram this past week to say, "I'm proud of my body". Last month, Blabbermouth.net posted a statement from James and the band in which they revealed they were "honored" to be nominated in the "Best Rock Song" category for the song "Hardwired" from their Hardwired...

Lady Gaga just bared some skin prior to her appearance at the Grammy Awards 2017.

If all of that wasn't awesome enough, Lady Gaga ended her set with a mic drop and a football catch while simultaneously jumping off of her platform... According to Loudwire, Hetfield previously used Metallica's fan club magazine to address his band's need to succeed.

"See you at the Grammys", Gaga tweeted Saturday evening, adding the hashtag #MetalliGa along with the butterfly and fire emojis, seemingly referencing the band's 2016 tune "Moth Into Flame". While you may be able to find a true vintage Metallica tee at a local thrift store, some retailers have chic versions (and crop top versions exactly like Gaga's) that you can shop for a good price.

Ultimately, stage technicians got the mic working again and Hetfield went on to finish the song without the audience really hearing much of a difference. This time, however, Gaga was joined by Metallica members James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett and Robert Trujillo.
