Did LADY GAGA Just Get A Massive METALLICA Back Tattoo?

During the band's performance with Lady Gaga, Metallica lead singer James Hetfield's microphone didn't work at all. Gaga herself has respected Metallica for years and was excited about the collaboration.

It was the second time the British singer's performance at the awards ceremony had been hindered, after a mic fell on the piano strings during her track All I Ask a year ago. Poor Lady Gaga can't catch a break! During Grammy 2016, Lady Gaga got a David Bowie's "Aladdin Sane" album cover because her performance was dedicated to David Bowie who died of cancer previous year. Just behind was Jennifer Lopez's selfie video (1.6 million), then Ariana Grande, who was nominated twice for her hit "Dangerous Woman" and who racked up more than 1.3 million views for a video touting her noms.

Lady Gaga's Joanna came out too late to qualify for a nomination, but she appeared to be having a whale of a time on stage. Then Gaga crowd-surfs at one point, which took an awkward turn when the crowd released her back onto the stage and she nearly face planted right there.

Unfortunately, the performance itself was beset by a number of technical issues.

Backed by a gospel choir and full band, Chance put on this emotional performance after winning awards for Best New Artist and Best Rap Album. So the whole compilation didn't really make sense.

The relationship is the singer's first since ending her engagement to actor Taylor Kinney last summer (16). "Not for him. Can we start it again?"

And with the likes of Adele, Rihanna and Beyonce vying for some of the evening's biggest gongs, all eyes were on the Grammys red carpet to see which stars would be topping the event's best dressed lists. The crowd was booing too- it was bad.

And that about sums it up!
