Simon Key Tweets Harry Potter Book line-by-line to Piers Morgan

Angry Piers, 51, hit back: "This is why I've never read a single word of Harry Potter".

According to Simon Key, the man running the account, the act was inspired by Morgan's comment about his unfamiliarity with the popular series-something he stated in the midst of a Twitter feud with Harry Potter scribe J.K. Rowling herself. Morgan had refused to refer to President Trump's travel ruling as a Muslim ban.

Morgan faced off with Australian comic Jim Jefferies on the episode during a discussion of the executive order.

The temporary ban, which has been overturned in the USA courts for now, has affected people from seven mainly-Muslim countries.

The Harry Potter author expressed glee on Twitter at the broadcaster being sworn at by Australian comedian Jim Jefferies after Morgan refused to call President Trump's travel ruling a Muslim ban during an appearance on a United States talk show.

Over the weekend, Piers Morgan basically got his arse handed to him by JK Rowling after she pointed out what a enormous bell-end he was on Real Time With Bill Maher.

Morgan later tweeted "When all the hysterical anti-Trump liberals stop screaming, everyone will realize everything I said on @RealTimers last night was true".

The first message was the very first line of the book: "Mr. and Mrs. Dursley, of number four, Privet Drive, were proud to say that they were perfectly normal, thank you very much".

He told Sky News that since Morgan "clearly spends all day on Twitter staring at his timeline" that he'd tweet the entirety of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone at him.

"Obviously I'm sending it in bitesize chunks", Key told Sky News.
