MoneyLine Betting Tip for OR vs. USC on Feb 11, 2017

Entering Sunday's matchup with Oregon State, No. 10 UCLA is coming off Thursday's roller coaster victory over No. 5 Oregon that almost blew the roof off Pauley Pavilion as the Bruins overcame a 19-point deficit.

Shaqquan Aaron walked past a security guard on his way to his typical postgame shooting routine. USC wins a lot of games from deep space, too. The Trojans had hoped his presence would be decisive.

"Our coach told us before the game that the key to this game is believing that you can be here, believing that you are supposed to be here, believing that you can win this game", Edwards said.

USC came into Saturday night with an 8-0 record when Boatwright plays, although his absence with a sprained knee coincided with the tougher games the Trojans have played.

Dorsey shouldered the load from there, hitting two huge three-pointers in the waning minutes. Jordan McLaughlin missed a dunk early. The Ducks have size and muscle everywhere and multiple 3-point shooters, plus the experience of Bell, Brooks, Casey Benson, Chris Boucher and Dylan Ennis, juniors and seniors all.

After three clock reviews and 14 total turnovers bogged down the first half, the lack of continuity bled into the second. "We need to actually lock in and do that".

The shooting didn't help. "We shot lower than we usually do and had some unforced turnovers. You're not going to beat OR if you shoot 22 percent from the 3-point line".

USC could've used the resume-making victory. USC, like I said, very talented. Wiese and Kat Tudor hit layups to pull the Beavers within one, but the Trojans went into the break with a 29-26 lead.

Oregon's ability to survive Brooks' loss after his 21 points was another sign that it probably is the best team in the Pac-12, although it's close. Like the one to Arizona, they suffered the double denial of a comeback that ran aground. USC already had a similar resume to the Pac-12 triumvirate. It is also the Trojans' third home loss in league. But it needed a head-to-head win.

USC went into Corvallis on Friday and beat Oregon State with Defensive pressure.

But USC began to seize the momentum after Boatwright made two crucial plays. They pushed the lead out to eight in their next three possessions.

The Trojans were 9 for 15 from the floor, including 3 of 5 from 3 with Edwards scoring 10 and Simon eight. It just confused a fifth foul with a breakthrough victory.

OR would have to play without its leading scorer. For USC, Metu scored 16 and Stewart scored 15.

Boatwright stepped to the free-throw with little more than three minutes remaining, and the 6-foot-10 sophomore sank both attempts. Now, a double-digit lead late was slipping away.

Tyler Dorsey wasn't leaving his hometown without a win. Then Dorsey made another.

Ball is coming off an odd game in which the nation's leader in assists had just one against Oregon. The routine failed against a more unforgiving opponent.

USC's plan for the first half of the rematch was clear.

The Trojans took a 42-40 lead early on in the second half after USC knocked down several 3-pointers.

"I think when they watch the film they'll see the little things make a big difference", Enfield said.

"We just did a much better job fighting and playing consistently the whole 40 minutes".

"I feel like that with any good shooting team, when you start missing them, the nerves are going to take over", Stewart said.
