Opportunity came through an offer from actor Keanu Reeves with whom Stahelski had worked and had stunt doubled for. Now Stahelski is back with "John Wick: Chapter 2" and he is raising the bar even higher with phenomenal auto stunts, breathtaking fights, and a new brand of action he calls "gun fu". Good luck, and remember: No business at the Continental. That status is put to the test when he becomes involved in a lethal power struggle.
John Wick, with Keanu Reeves as the eponymous hitman, was the unexpectedly ideal action movie when it arrived in theaters three years ago.
Ian McShane stays on as the owner of high-end criminal safehouse, the Continental Hotel, with concierge Lance Reddick, auto guru John Leguizamo, and evidence scrubber Charlie familiar faces for those that saw the first movie. New additions to the cast include Laurence Fishburne (Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice), Common (Selma), Ruby Rose (Resident Evil: The Final Chapter), Riccardo Scamarcio (Burnt) and Peter Stormare (Fargo).
Stahelski was brought back to direct the sequel John Wick: Chapter 2, which recently hit theaters.
