Donald Trump, Mark Cuban engage in Sunday morning Twitter sparring session

"He backed me big-time but I wasn't interested in taking all of his calls. He's not smart enough to run for president!" He backed me big-time but I wasn't interested in taking all of his calls. He's not smart enough to run for president!

Responding to a tweet asking why Trump was tweeting at him, Cuban puckishly responded, "I don't know".

"How soon they forget". Sherrod Brown and Chris Murphy, as well as Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper, as possible opponents to Trump in 2020, but stressed that Cuban posed the biggest perceived threat.

"Mark - Wow, saw you on CNN - Nasty!"

Sunday morning, seemingly for no reason, the president attacked Cuban, tweeting, "I know Mark Cuban well. But isn't it better for all of us that he is tweeting rather than trying to govern?" "He's not a typical candidate", one of the unnamed sources said. "He appeals to a lot of people the same way Trump did".

Mark Cuban and Donald Trump keep finding one another on Twitter. "And Mark is the kind of guy who would drop half a billion dollars of his own money on the race".

Cuban made it very clear that he supported Hillary Clinton (even calling Trump "a jagoff" during an endorsement speech). And of course, Cuban perched in the front row of a debate while hoping to be Trump's grim spectre of doom.

This weekend, as Trump worked from his Mar-a-lago resort, immigrant rights groups protested in Arizona, New York and elsewhere against recent deportations and immigration raids under Trump's crackdown.
