Modi likes peeping in bathrooms, searching Google: Rahul

Only yesterday, in Parliament, the PM had attacked the Congress saying that only former PM Manmohan Singh knew of the art of bathing with a raincoat on.

Addressing a rally in Bijnor today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi attacked Congress VP Rahul Gandhi, saying "If you google his name, then you will find the largest number of jokes on his name". Hitting back at Modi, Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi alleged that one who is in the wrong, sees scam in everything and said "S infact stands for "service", C for "courage", A for "ability" and M for "modesty".

Prominent candidates in the fray in the first phase of Uttar Pradesh elections on Saturday exuded confidence of victory.

"He (Modi) can do this (peeping into bathrooms) in his free time", Mr. Gandhi said.

Speaking at the press conference, the UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav said emotions and anger were not right as these were elections for growth and prosperity of the state.

The Congress vice president also clarified that there was no fight between the Samajwadi Party and the Congress over Assembly seats. "Truth is that in two-and-a-half years, he has failed". PM's strategy is distraction, when he can't answer questions he starts distracting.

Congress, Mr Modi said, had spoilt the entire nation and the Akhilesh Government was so weak and nervous that it had embraced the sinking ship. Modi promised two crore jobs but has not fulfilled even one per cent of his promise. He also said that PM is fond of such acts. He made it clear that his crusade against corruption could not make headway unless the BJP was voted to power in the Hindi heartland and most populous state of the nation.
