In last night's (10 February) episode of Real Time with Bill Maher, Jefferies lashed out at Morgan for refusing to refer to Trump's travel ruling as a Muslim ban.
At this point Jefferies interjected to say: "Oh, fuck off".
Morgan retorted by accusing Jefferies of whipping up hysteria.
"Hitler didn't kill the Jews on his first day, he worked up to it!"
Piers Morgan and JK Rowling became embroiled in a Twitter row over the Good Morning Britain presenter's support of Donald Trump after he was criticised live on United States television.
After Jefferies invoked Hitler and Nazi Germany, and Morgan criticized him for the characterization, things got personal. Jefferies looked right at the camera and audience and asked, "Am I losing you?" to wild applause and cheers, with cries of "no!"
