Are X Factor victor Matt Terry and Freddie Parker '100% a couple'?

Last night the last three contestants on The X Factor 2016, 5 After Midnight, Matt Terry and Saara Aalto sang to stay in the competition and win this year's crown.

The23-year-old heartthrob Matt Terry, former waiter from Bromley, Kent beat co-finalist Saara Aalto with a series of fantastic vocal performances. "He said he was right about to call me then he saw Simon had signed me for X Factor and he was like, "Oh god". Share your thoughts and views on the discussion box below.

Eagle-eyed X Factor fans noticed something interesting after Terry appeared to embrace his fellow singing-hopefuls, with many people on Twitter speculating he kissed Parker in the background.

Coronation Street star, Shayne Ward, who won the X Factor in 2005, also tweeted his congratulations. Just 4% split the trio at the vote freeze on Saturday night. They pose for a selfie together after both making it through the judges' houses stage to the live shows and it kicks off their Instagram friendship.

But the 23-year-old from Bromley started to slip in the middle, and in week eight Aalto was on top with 23.7%, followed by Emily Middlemas (22.6%) and Terry (21.2%).

"You came into this final as good artists, you ended as great artists", said Simon Cowell.

In a message posted on Twitter today, Terry said: "Guys, I can not believe that the track is number one on iTunes".

Where can I get the single? "My little brother is moving back home so I'm going to be sleeping with my dog", he said.

The waiter from Bromley fell over and shouted "oh my God" as the victor was announced by host Dermot O'Leary.

Both contestants sang again, Matt was up first singing One Day I'll Fly Away, which seemed like a unusual choice but the arrangement was attractive and his finish brought tears to Sharon and Nicole's eyes.
