LeSean McCoy active for Bills, limited work expected for fantasy owners

When it was over, Miami had, at least temporarily, derailed the Bills season with a 28-25 victory.

On Thursday it was reported that McCoy would not play this week due the hamstring injury, but multiple reports have since surfaced that Buffalo's star running back would give it a go in Week 7.

Buffalo head coach Rex Ryan also added that McCoy was healthy enough to play.

With that said, it will certainly be interesting to see how Ryan and the Bills respond following a momentum killer in Miami. "He seems much more confident in what they're asking him to do". The veteran safety missed most of the last season when he underwent neck surgery following an injury that threatened his career. McCoy tried to play through his hamstring injury during Sunday's 28-25 loss to the Dolphins, was ineffective and made a decision to sit out the final 20 minutes of game action after he felt "a little pain" in the muscle.

After giving up over 200 yards rushing to Jay Ajayi, running back Damien Williams scored on a 12-yard rushing touchdown to take the lead 21-17 late in the fourth.

It wasn't all Miami on Sunday. The team announced their inactives on Sunday, and McCoy was not among them.

"Special teams played a great game", Taylor said.

A former fifth-round pick, Ajayi was left off the active roster for the season opener for behavioral reasons after Miami signed Foster to be the starting running back. "Great job up front by them", Ryan added. We were up for suggestions, I can promise you. Ajay rushed for 214 yards on 29 carries.

The first quarter got off with the Dolphins scoring a 36-yard field goal on their first drive to take a 3-0 lead.

- Brandon Tate had a 30-yard punt return up the right sideline. Mike Gillislee added five carries for 20 yards.

It was déjà vu for the Buffalo Bills and LeSean McCoy on Sunday. Their defense is putting it together, and they're no longer on the field for the entire game.

His dominance continued in the second half.

Miami quarterback Ryan Tannehill remained calm even when the Dolphins fell behind 17-6, with 5:51 left in the third quarter. In between those two, Miami did not score but continued to build offensive momentum, gaining 59 yards. He left the game with some soreness in his hamstring. In all four of those previous cases, Simpson, Campbell, and Williams ended the season and the National Football League rushing leader.

However, Dolphins coaches have been impressed with Ajayi's work ethic and preparation since that point, and it has paid off. Ajayi has been on fire the past two weeks with 418 rushing yards and three touchdowns against the Steelers and Bills.

"They told me the (running) backs that I'm in company with and that's huge", said Ajayi.
