Honda Civic Type-R Is Set To Appear In Upcoming SEMA Show

The most awaited debut of the 2017 Honda Civic Type-R is finally happening at the upcoming SEMA Show.

Other specialty Civics on display will include the 2017 Honda Performance Development Civic Body-In-White/Performance Race Parts, the 2017 Honda Civic Hatchback/Honda Factory Performance (HFP) concept, the 2016 Honda Civic Coupe aLL STaR Performance/ Tjin Edition, the 2016 Honda Civic Coupe/MAD Industries, and the recrafted Civic X Concept on display at the Meguiar's booth.

Although we covered the world debut of the near-factory trim and specification pre-production Civic Type R at the Paris Show, North American Honda fans in attendance of the 2016 SEMA Show now have the rarefied opportunity to preview a Civic Type-R concept vehicle that's most likely very close in trim and specification to the production offering slated for release to the USA - sometime in 2017.

The Type R will headline what Honda's referring to as its SEMA "Civicpalooza".

Aside from the Honda Civic Type-R, auto enthusiasts can also look forward to seeing cars that belong to the 10 generation Civic racing vehicles such as the Civic Coupe race car from the 2016 Red Bull Global Rallycross.
