'The Walking Dead' Season 7, Episode 2 'The Well' Synopsis and Preview

Fans of AMC's "The Walking Dead" who watched last night's Season 7 premiere will likely never forget it.

The episode began with all 11 of them lined up on their knees as Negan teased and taunted them with his baseball bat covered in barbed wire. With rumors popping up of Abraham and Glenn being the victims surfacing in comment sections and spoiler sites ahead of the premiere, some believe the leak to have been an intentional misdirect by the crew at AMC.

Like so many moments in Walking Dead's past, it's a bit of a gamble - counting on the devotion of the show's followers to survive the kind of beating that only comes after the loss of a truly admired character. "If you kill a character and nobody cares, that means we haven't done something to connect our people to the characters". Emotional responses - particularly "cried" and "upset" - spiked toward the middle of the show, when Glenn was killed.

This preview contains plot details about season 7 of "The Walking Dead". Now he's gone, and all we have left is the slimmest hope that Rick's insane mountain-man beard might make a comeback to fill the void.

"When you look at definition of MA and what content of the show is, it's unquestionable they chose what best represented the content", Winter said, noting it was properly rated because there was nothing more severe.

If showrunner Greg Nicotero has taught us anything, it's that love can't save you and there is no such thing as a happy ending. Does this mean that we'll see "All-Out War" break out later this season?

He went on to mention the impact the deaths, and their aftermath, will have on Andrew Lincoln's main character, Rick Grimes.

We've never seen anything like this, period.

Despite being already considered one of the most brutal episodes of television in recent history, it was Glenn's last words to Maggie that left a lasting impression on fans and the series's stars.

Winter felt The Walking Dead was out of line when looking at the guidelines that are given for TV ratings.

"He dies in such a Glenn way". Let's just say we're not so sure anymore where this series is taking us ... or whether it's someplace we necessarily want to go.

What do you think will happen next on The Walking Dead?

Fittingly, as the show's top producers and cast gathered at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery Sunday for an expanded live edition of Talking Dead, the skies opened up and a pouring rain drenched all the participants.
