MI voter registration deadline is Tuesday

About 3 million people are expected to vote in the presidential election this year.
You may either visit your county elections office in person or mail in a registration application, but it must be postmarked by October 11, said Vona Hudson, Tom Green County elections administrator, said. Once you have your DMV account, or if you already had one, sign in and choose "Register to Vote" and fill out the voter registration form.
"As I'm speaking, trucks are being loaded with nearly 800,000 ballots that are being mailed out", Kelley said.

Absentee ballots also are available by mail from county election offices. The 2012 figure does not include mail-only ballots, which small outstate municipalities can use rather than opening polling places.
"Starting [Tuesday], Tulare County will start dropping 106,530 ballots in the mail", Turner said.
Voters reflected in these totals can cast ballots in multiple ways, either requesting and receiving an absentee ballot, which is then mailed back or dropped off in person.

The city of Visalia could get a boost of Visalia voters pass Measure N, a half-cent sales tax increase. It will also go toward technology infrastructure and will qualify the district for state matching grants.
