The Timeless cast also includes Paterson Joseph as Connor Mason, and guest stars like Claudia Doumit (Jiya) and Sean Maguire (Ian Fleming).
Timeless was created by Shawn Ryan (The Shield) and Eric Kripke (Revolution, Supernatural) and from the producers of The Blacklist. "Timeless" kickstarted revisiting the past, the fall of Hindenburg.
The premiere of "Timeless" TV series, however, seems to set it apart from the rest. Due to the water and steel infused with current collaborating its contents, the Hindenburg crashed with massive fire while arriving. With the state of America in peril, it's up to a scientist (Malcolm Barrett), soldier (Matt Lanter) and history professor (Abigail Spencer) to change a few critical moments in the past without drastically altering present day events. Together they are traveling back in time to fight criminals and make sure the history of the world is preserved.
#5 Sakina Jaffrey (Denise Christopher): Agent Denise Christopher is a high-ranking and formidable government agent, who is in charge of the group consisting of Lucy, Wyatt, and Rufus, that travels back in time.
However, a main character in the "Timeless" TV series disagrees. Fortunately, the Hindenburg did not explode like what the history says.
On the Hindenburg, Lucy and Rufus pose as Anarchist Black Cross members and demand the ship be grounded. Wyatt tries to defuse the bomb and save Kate's life. And they may only visit a specific period of history once - whatever they do can not be undone, and the present will be affected by the changes in the timestream. A surprise that made her happy.
Homeland Security denied about Lucy's question about Rittenhouse.
Lucy, Rufus and Wyatt return home to find that history has been slightly altered by their exploits. Another trip to another time will be taken on Episode 2 of Timeless. Of course, later in the episode, Kate dies from something else, thus not causing some unexpected ripple in the time-space continuum.
NBC has launched "Timeless" TV series on October 3. In Quantum Leap, Sam could only travel to time periods that existed when he was alive, for example. Doctor Who is one of the TV series that focuses on the same concept. The show debuts Monday at 10 p.m., following "The Voice".
Future episodes involve such historical moments as the assassination of Abraham Lincoln, but has Spencer ever thought about what famous historical figure she would like to meet?
The main cast of "Timeless" and a summary suffices on IMDB and NBC for reference.
"Timeless" has the potential to be fun in a simple-minded sort of way, so long as you don't fret about the premise's implications, which risk going from zero to ridiculous in a matter of seconds.
