"Fury" actor Brad Pitt has released another statement following his much-talked-about recent split from wife of two years, "Maleficent" actress Angelina Jolie.
Kerry Washington's character Olivia Pope on ABC's hit drama is inspired by Smith's work, and Smith herself serves as co-executive producer of the Shonda Rhimes-helmed series.
Angelina Jolie filed divorce from actor Brad Pitt because she found photographs of singer Selena Gomez and some other women on his phone.
With Smith now a part of Angelina Jolie's legal team, in addition to celebrity divorce attorney Laura Wasser, the actress certainly has it made on the legal front.
This comes just days after it was reported it is highly unlikely Brad will be prosecuted for the abuse allegations because conflicting accounts make it impossible to prove what happened. Sources said that the couple may have broken up because of Pitt's way of parenting. "He really wants to see the kids and to work out an arrangement that is best for them", a source told the publication. Meanwhile, Pitt sources have said he will push for shared physical custody of their kids: 15-year-old Maddox (with whom Pitt had an alleged physical altercation), Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and 8-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.
