Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 Road to Boruto TGS 2016 trailer

Before this week's Tokyo Game Show (TGS) event, Bandai Namco finally confirmed that "Naruto Shippūden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 Road to Boruto" will be released internationally on February 3, 2017.

The game will follow the storyline of "Boruto: Naruto the Movie", which includes the Uchiha Sasuke vs. Ōtsutsuki Kinshiki fight. New characters are also confirmed to be part of the new DLC, including Sarada Uchicha, who was only available for players who preordered the base game "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4".

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 is now available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

Users will also be able to explore new areas in the Hidden Leaf Village and familiarize themselves with the new characters in both offline and online Free Battle Mode. Japan is receiving a physical version of the game so countries outside Japan might also be receiving one similar to how Naruto Storm 3 Full Burst was handled.

Anime News Network reports that "Road to Boruto" will launch in a physical release, a digital download release, and a downloadable content (DLC) update release in Japan.

At Tokyo Game Show 2016 Bandai Namco officially announced the Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 update with a brand new trailer (seen above) that gives some details on what fans can expect and a release date.

An expansion for fighting video game "Naruto Shippūden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" has been rumored for some time already and Bandai Namco Entertainment even teased of a looming announcement.

It's predecessor, "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4", meanwhile, was released in February this year on the same consoles.

There is no word yet on the game's release in other regions as of this writing.
